Have you experienced or witnessed bias or discrimination in your community? Tell us what happened.

If you have experienced or witnessed a bias or hate incident in New York State, you can report that information here. Submissions through this form are monitored by the New York State Police and the New York State Division of Human Rights, who may reach out to you for additional information to determine whether a crime, including a hate crime, or act of discrimination has occurred.

The information you submit will be maintained in confidence. Your personal information will not be disclosed under New York State’s Freedom of Information Law. If you would prefer to speak with someone over the phone, you can call the toll-free bias reporting hotline at 1-888-392-3644.
